Reservation Policy
To guarantee your reservation, 100% of the total amount must be paid before the arrival date.
Cancellations and refunds
1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance
If you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour date, you will be entitled to a refund. This policy applies exclusively to the following tours:
- Whale Watching Tour in Marino Ballena National Park
- Rappelling Tour
- Private Hiking Tour in Marino Ballena National Park
- Kayaking Tours
- Horseback Riding Tours in Uvita
- Night Tours
2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour
If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued and you must pay 100% of the reservation amount.
3. Special tours
These experiences have special policies due to their operation and logistics:
- Caño Island Biological Reserve
- Corcovado National Park
- Violines Island
- Sport Fishing Tour
- Mangrove Boat Tour
If the cancellation is made less than 6 days in advance, the full amount will not be refunded. In these cases, the reservation operating fees apply, which are non-refundable.
4. Right of cancellation
Ballena Jorobada Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to:
- Insufficient registrations
- Bad weather
- Natural disasters
- Factors beyond our control
In the event of such cancellation, those with reservations will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund of all payments made. Ballena Jorobada Tours and its participating agents are not responsible for any expenses incurred by non-refundable plane tickets, equipment, medical costs, etc.
